By installing or using the MPS parent app, or using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. These terms work together with our Privacy Policy.
Who can use the app
- The app is for parents and guardians of pupils at Mbarara Preparatory School whose phone numbers are registered with the school.
- Sign in only with your own phone number. Do not try to access information about children who are not in your care.
- Keep your phone secure. Anyone who can unlock your phone may be able to see your children's information in the app.
Information shown in the app
- Reports, marks, fees balances, payments and other records are shown for your information. The school's official records and printed reports take precedence if there is any difference.
- If something looks wrong, contact the school and we will check and correct it.
- Homework, notices and class videos are provided by the school for your child's learning and may not be shared publicly or used commercially.
Messages and the marketplace
- Messages to the school should be respectful and relate to your child or the school.
- Marketplace listings must be lawful, honest and suitable for a school community. The school reviews listings and may refuse or remove any listing without notice.
- Any sale arranged through the marketplace is between the buyer and seller. The school is not part of the transaction and is not responsible for the goods or services offered.
Acceptable use
You must not misuse the app or website, for example by:
- trying to get into accounts, records or systems you are not entitled to;
- interfering with the app, the school's server or other users;
- copying, modifying or redistributing the app.
The school may suspend access to the app for anyone who breaks these terms.
Availability
We work to keep the app available and accurate, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change, add or remove features at any time. The app is provided free of charge.
Liability
To the extent allowed by law, the school is not liable for any loss arising from the use of, or inability to use, the app or website. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the laws of Uganda.
Ending your use
You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. To have your app data removed, see how to delete your account. Access also ends when your phone number is no longer registered for a pupil at the school.
Changes and law
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda.
